#Hello2017 February
So it’s the end of February already! And I’m still writing. Yay me.
I’ve come to terms with this space being an expression of ideas, experiences and favourite things that inspire and move me. It’s not a space that will be centered on a single topic such as beauty, fashion, design, food or travel but will address each and every one of those topics.
And with that, each month will have an end-of-month post to summarize the moments of the month. February was one of my favourite months so far. I’m not a fan of a cold and snowy winter and thankfully, this month was mild. I wore my parka less than five times. It was a short month and a month of saying yes and trying new things. There’s a list below that will show that it was a busy month, full of go-for-it moments such as a spontaneous decision to chop my hair off, finally sign up for laser hair removal sessions (after thinking about it for a year!), saying yes to skating and of course saying yes to learning to play Blackjack. I approached the month with an attitude of ‘why not now’ and replaced any fear with an eagerness to try new things. I have no regrets and instead had quite the productive month.
My February 2017 thus far:
Chopped off 12 inches of my hair #changeisgood #nofear
Began laser hair removal #summer2017
Went to a club, if that’s what Brassaii is called these days #Ifeelold
Cracked open my brand new skates I bought three years ago and finally went ice skating on a date. Also didn’t fall #wintercanbefun
Tried Ruth’s Chris Steak House and it was a delicious experience #foodiebucketlist
Completed two months of product photoshoots including human subjects #gettingbetter
Discovered a juicery and shakery #postworkoutshake
Went to the gym 11 times #wannabefitfam
Organized a team dinner at Captain’s Boil, a true foodie experience #allIdoiseateateat
Learned to play blackjack at Fallsview Casino #hitme
