#Hello2017 January
I’ve been meaning to write this post since the first week of January, but if you’ve read my first post Finally, you’ll know it’s hard for me to get down to it and write!
I have to be in the perfect moment – laptop or iPad easily accessible, thoughts flowing profusely, images available to accompany post, feeling witty…and the list goes on. I’ve realized one thing (I realized this last year but I’m putting it into action this year) there is no perfect moment. Life is a bunch of meh moments that we have decided to make dope.
I’m rarely going to feel witty after a 12-hour day. I can’t always have curated images ready to accompany my posts. But the one thing I do have is a waterfall of feelings I wanting to write, once I begin. So all I have to do is begin. This post along with my previous post do not have images to accompany them. Their thumbnail is a boring teal tile, but who cares, I’ve promised myself to write first and then worry about the accessories. I’ll update the images later. (Note from the future: I’m going to stop caring about images for everything; they can come later or not at all; let the text tell the story)
So #Hello2017, I can’t believe it’s already the end of January. It’s been quite the interesting month so far and I want to put a post together at the end of every month to highlight what’s happened personally thus far. Maybe I’ll sort it into the angered moments and the cooler moments. If you need an explanation on madder and shade, I’m working on it.
